      • Merit Badge signup will begin on Monday, May 4, 2020 (but you won’t officially be registered until we receive payment and register on the camp site).
      • Only Mr. Wissler or another approved leader can approve your merit badges choices.
      • Payment and Forms will be collected at troop meetings from now until the last official troop meeting.
      • After the end of the troop meeting year forms will need to be mailed to Elaine Ritter, 22 Stow Rd., Marlborough, MA 01752
      • We want your medical forms as soon as possible, but if your appointment prohibits you from turning in your forms before the last meeting, the FINAL date we can accept them to be turned in to camp by the troop is July 22th. After that date, you will be responsible for bringing your own forms into camp. They will not be pre-reviewed for missing data. In other words – please plan accordingly. Scouts will not be allowed to stay at camp without all forms complete.

Adult Leaders Planning to Attend Camp (staying overnight and or visiting)

      • Please complete the SORI and CORI forms on the Mayflower Council website and return to Elaine Ritter with a copy of the front and back of your license as soon as possible but no later than May 30, 2020.

Medical/Parent Authorization Forms

These guidelines are mandates by the State of Massachusetts and the camp is subject to annual audits. Do not blame the camp, the troop or council if you find these challenging. Call the governor or your state rep.

      • The only acceptable forms that the camp will accept are on the Mayflower Council website.
      • Mayflower Council Medical Forms
      • Parent Authorization Form
      • Everyone (youth and adult) staying at camp or visiting regularly who wants to use the water front will need to complete a medical form and have it signed by a physician
      • All youth will also need a signed Parent Authorization Form
      • Things to Remember on the Medical Forms:
        • Part A and B should be completed by a parent or guardian for scouts or adult for adults
        • Part C must be signed and dated by a physician.
        • Everyone must have had a physical on or after July 26, 20120 (within 12 months of attending camp)
        • Everyone (youth and adult) needs immunization verification – NO EXEMPTIONS – and all info must be written on the official form (front page). You cannot just attach the list from the doctor. Guidelines for verification of immunizations can be found at the beginning of the pdf medical form
        • Signed school forms and/or immunization records are not accepted – so don’t just write “see attached” or you will need to redo your forms.
        • If your scout will be taking medication while at camp, you must bring the meds in the original bottle and complete the Authorization to Administer Medication section on the bottom of Part A

Camperships

      • The Campership Application should be completed online no later than June 1st. The Council Committee will be meeting to distribute available funds in early spring. The earlier you get your application in the better chance you have of receiving assistance. Funds may not be available for submissions after June 1.
      • All information on the application must be complete for the application to be considered. If the form is not complete you will not be able to submit it.
      • If you have more than one camper, a separate application for each additional camper must be completed.
      • All information provided will be kept strictly confidential.
      • In order to give as many camperships as possible with the funds available it is the policy of the Mayflower Council not to give 100% camperships. Each family is expected to share part of the expense of camp. Amount granted is made on the basis of need and availability of funds.
      • Camperships are usually only given for one week in order to help as many Scouts as possible.

Payment Plans

      • We understand that coming up with the full payment may be a challenge for some so if you need to work out a payment plan for camp please see Denise Ryan as soon as possible to make arrangements.

NOTE: Don’t forget if you sold popcorn or volunteered at the Mason’s and have not yet used your camp credits you can use them for summer camp.
